What to Expect: Taster Day Highlights

On September 7, the Cathedral will hold an open Taster Day from 2:00 PM, where families and children can experience first-hand the magic of choral singing:

  • 3:10 PM – Chorister break with Q&A for parents

  • 3:30 PM – Donning of robes

  • 3:45 PM – Final music run-through

  • 4:40 PM – Short service showcasing the day’s work

Inclusive, Free, and Fun!

This choir experience is completely free and audition-free—a rare chance for any child, regardless of musical background or religious affiliation, to explore singing in a historic and uplifting space without barriers.

  • No audition required – all children are welcome

  • Not religiously exclusive – open to all faiths or none

  • Safe and supportive – all staff working with children are police-checked as part of their Safe Church policy.

Fantastic Benefits for Young Singers

Children will not just learn to sing—they’ll enjoy musical growth, confidence-building, and lasting friendships, all while performing in the Cathedral’s beautiful acoustic and wearing traditional chorister robes, creating an unforgettable, heritage-rich experience.

Why It Matters for London, Ontario
