London Gets a Taste of the Amalfi Coast This March Thanks to Little Moons
WHAT'S ONFOOD & DRINK

Spring may only just be beginning to show itself in London, but for one weekend the capital is set to feel unmistakably Mediterranean. On 28 and 29 March, Little Moons is bringing the spirit of an Italian summer to the city with an immersive Amalfi-inspired pop-up designed to transport visitors straight to the sun-soaked coast, no travel plans required.
At the centre of the experience is Italian sorbet maker Mattia Cretella, whose lemon sorbet gained viral fame last summer from his hometown of Amalfi. Known as much for his energetic presence as for his refreshing creations, Cretella’s citrus-filled serves quickly became a social media obsession, capturing the carefree glamour and heat of an Italian holiday.
For two days only, he will host a dedicated lemon sorbet parlour celebrating the launch of Little Moons’ latest flavour, Lemon & Elderflower Refreshos. The pop-up promises a sensory escape inspired by coastal lemon groves, golden sunshine and laid-back summer indulgence. Guests will also be able to try an exclusive take on Cretella’s now-famous lemon sorbet, created especially for the London event.
Where: Crumb, 8 Charlton Place, London N1 8AJ
When: 28 and 29 March
Time: 11am to 6pm
Visitors can expect queues of curious Londoners eager to sample the new flavour and soak up a slice of Italian charm. While the goal may be to cool crowds down with refreshing sorbet, the lively atmosphere and Cretella’s charismatic hosting are likely to raise temperatures instead.
The new Little Moons Lemon & Elderflower Refreshos combine sharp, citrusy lemon sorbet with a subtle floral elderflower note, all wrapped in the brand’s signature soft rice dough. The result is a light, refreshing bite designed to capture the feeling of a long, sun-drenched summer on the Amalfi Coast, right in the heart of London.
