Chrome, Culture, and Family Fun: The Rally of the Giants Turns 60 at Stonor Park
TRAVELWHAT'S ON

The UK’s premier classic American car show is motoring at full throttle towards Stonor Park for a milestone celebration this summer. Marking 60 years of classic American motoring, the All American Auto Club’s highly anticipated "Rally of the Giants" is returning to Stonor’s stunning grounds, situated on the border of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, on Sunday 2nd August.
A must-visit for car enthusiasts and families alike, the event features an unforgettable line-up on the lawns in front of the picturesque Stonor House. Hundreds of vehicles spanning from 1900 through to the modern day will be on display, with over 30 awards up for grabs across all classes of classic American vehicles.
"The Rally of the Giants has an energetic festival vibe and a fantastic atmosphere, with live music, delicious street food vendors, and auto-themed retail completing the line-up," says Louisa Fifield, general manager at Stonor Park. "This event is an experience for all the senses with fired-up engines and lots of dazzling bright colours and fun designs to enjoy. You don't have to be a car enthusiast to be able to appreciate and enjoy this amazing spectacle."
A Complete Family Day Out
Visitors can easily make a full day of it by taking advantage of Stonor’s all-inclusive ticket. Admission includes full access to the rally as well as the estate's beautiful gardens, the popular woodland adventure playground Tumblestone Hollow, and afternoon entry to Stonor House itself, which stands as one of the oldest continuously inhabited family homes in the UK today.
"Stonor Park really does offer something for everyone and a variety of interests," Louisa adds. "Perhaps you like learning about history, art, and treasures, or prefer to head outdoors to appreciate beautiful planting schemes. Maybe you have little ones who love to burn off some energy exploring our amazing playground full of towers, bridges, spiralling chutes, tunnels, and even a water play area."
With so much to explore alongside the automotive spectacle, the event offers a value-for-money, multi-generational experience where even four-legged family members can join in, provided well-behaved dogs remain on a lead.
