BXR London and TRX Join Forces for a New Fitness Concept
BEAUTY, WELLBEING & PARENTHOODFERTILITY, PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM
London fitness institution BXR has teamed up with TRX to launch an innovative training concept that combines functional strength and cardiovascular conditioning. Designed to combat the recent fitness industry shift where traditional cardio has sometimes been sidelined in favour of strength and sculpt-based training, the new concept aims to give gym-goers a well-balanced, full-body workout in a single session.
The cooperative workout format is structured around equipment-intensive blocks, featuring an efficient low-impact VersaClimber workout alongside TRX functional training.
Speaking on the partnership, Carl McCartney, International Sales Director at TRX, noted:
"What matters most is that people walk away feeling accomplished. That is exactly why this partnership is so important—every TRX-qualified trainer brings expert tuition to every class, so you get the real deal from day one, not a watered-down version of it. When the coaching is right, the results follow."
Key Highlights of the Launch:
The Problem Addressed: The recent surge in popularity around strength and mobility classes has inadvertently led some gym-goers to deprioritise cardiovascular health.
The Solution: A balanced session that merges full-body strength, stability, and low-impact cardiovascular training.
Expert Delivery: Dedicated press events hosted in Marylebone showcase the programming, developed alongside the BXR team.
Co-founder of BXR London, Alex Nicholl, added:
"People understand the importance of strength training more than ever, which is a positive development. But cardiovascular fitness remains fundamental to long-term health and performance. Strength & Climb is our way of bringing the two together in a format that feels efficient, accessible and relevant to how people want to train today."
As fitness trends continue to evolve, the collaboration between BXR and TRX highlights a growing demand for well-rounded, efficient training routines that do not compromise on either strength or cardiovascular health. By bridging the gap between functional resistance work and low-impact cardio, this new concept offers gym-goers a sustainable pathway to long-term physical performance and overall wellness.
